https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXVRoQtiSLQ comment : During the 1990’s (beeper/pager era) I lived dntn Baltimore. So not having to drive I walked to the Harbor past historic world famous Lexington Market around 7 pm. Just after you people left and the Lexington Market was closed for business for the day these grey furry friends were invited (by the hundreds) to an after-hours party and food binge. It was PACKED wall to wall. They didn’t even have a cover charge or fee for anything like you get to pay. Now that’s a party!! Every time I went to the Baltimore Harbor in the evening I’d check in on the party. Always a crowded event @ Lexington Market. Go by after closing - See for yourself as you peer inside.

Four people had to be taken to the medical centre by ambulance, including a woman in her twenties in serious condition with a broken femur, following this incident in the early morning. Firefighters explained that a lava explosion had covered the roof of the boat and dug a large hole while one of the boat's balustrades was damaged, without further details. The eruption of Kilauea volcano, one of the most active in the world, has already caused the destruction of hundreds of houses since May. Kilauea is one of five volcanoes on the island of Hawaii, the largest in the archipelago. The federal geological agency stressed on its website that "lava continues to seep at the mouth of the ocean" and that a "small island appeared" on Sunday from the fissure from wh...

How the North Korean trap closed on Trump

cnnram news
In Mail on Sunday, Donald Trump has once again flattered Kim Jong-un . "He's very smart, has a great personality. He is funny and he is also a very good negotiator", insisted the American president, who never stops talking about the "progress" made with Pyongyang. However, one month after the historic meeting in Singapore between the American leader and the young dictator, the United States lost the hand in the negotiations of a denuclearization of the North Korean arsenal. Sent to Pyongyang on 5 July, Mike Pompeo, the US Secretary of State, failed to wrest any symbolic commitment from the regime. However, he referred to'productive' discussions. "You can put as much lipstick as you want on a pig, it will always look like a pig. It was a very bad trip", has just summarized, in a conf...

The sweet and sour obituary of a 5-year-old boy who died of an “ugly beast and cancer”

cnnram news
What should the obituary of a 5 year old boy look like, condemned by a devastating rhabdomyosarcoma, a malignant tumour that particularly attacks children? Garrett Michael Booflas' parents, like all parents in the world, did not have the answer. What to do, what to say, what to write in the face of the ineffable? So they turned to their sons to speak "in his own words" about his life. Nine months after being diagnosed with what he calls this "ugly and stupid cancer", the 5-year-old American from Iowa died on July 6. Before that, he will have established his obituary himself, with the help of his parents. Published in the local daily Desmoines Register, and relayed in the biggest Anglo-Saxon media, this text lists the things the little boy likes, self-proclaimed "th...

France vs croatia live youtube stream wolrd cup 2018 final live tube tv Tactical analysis. "The defense dictates its laws to war. "The maxim is by Carl von Clausewitz, a Prussian military theorist and author of the founding treaty De la guerre, in which the supporters of the catenaccio ("lock") probably find themselves much more than those of total football. Almost two centuries later, this sentence, apparently unrelated to the World Cup final between France and Croatia on Sunday 15 July in Moscow, sums up one of the tactical challenges of the match. Indeed, it is the protection of one's own goal, more than the attack of the opponent's, that will dictate the behaviour of both teams. Does that mean that Croats and French will spend the match folded in their camp and that nobody w...

It is impossible to name all the animals we should never stop looking at, those we should let live in peace, and others to whom it would be wise t...

IGAS denounces delays in AIDS prevention

cnnram news
France was the first country in Europe to allow, in 2016, the use of Truvada, an anti-HIV treatment to prevent the contamination of an HIV-negative person during risky sexual intercourse. This is called pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), which is currently the subject of a poster campaign by the Aides association. This measure was successfully implemented, but three years after the National Drug Safety Agency (ANSM) was seized by the Aides association, and three and a half years after its American counterpart, the Food and Drug Administration, authorized it on 16 July 2012. Without this delay, several thousand contaminations could have been avoided. According to a report by the Inspectorate-General of Social Affairs (IGAS) which Le Monde has obtained, this delay is mainly th...

In London, tens of thousands of people demonstrate against Trump’s arrival

Donald Trump, who came to meet the British Prime Minister and the Queen, began a highly supervised visit to the United Kingdom on Thursday 12 July. Tens of thousands of people marched loudly through the streets of London Friday afternoon against his coming. A "carnival of resistance" against the American president judged "misogynist, homophobic, xenophobic". "DumpTrump", or "Even my mother, who loves everyone, can't frame you," could be read on the signs and banners brandished by the participants. "No to Trump, no to the KKK, no to fascist America! "they sang as they descended under a shining sun down Oxford Street's main commercial artery to Trafalgar Square, in the heart of the British capital. Our London correspondent, Philippe Bernard, visited the site:     Alex,...

Trump accuses Pfizer of “taking advantage of the poor” with his prices

cnnram news
Donald Trump turned the rise in drug prices into one of his workhorses two years ago in the election campaign to get to the White House. Now the president of the United States takes up the criticism and attacks Pfizer directly for disassociating himself from the voluntary rebate he said the industry committed to a month ago and accuses him of taking advantage of the poorest. "Pfizer and others should be ashamed of themselves for raising prices for no reason," Trump lamented in a social networking message, "they are simply taking advantage of the poor and others unable to defend themselves. And he points out that they do this while negotiating lower prices in other markets, such as Europe. "We will respond," he concludes.       Pfizer & others...
