Deadly accident at West Point

The vehicle overturned at approximately 6:45 a.m. at a Light Medium Tactical Vehicle away Route 293 in the Camp Natural Bridge training Website. The team was led to a land navigation training site in hilly, mountainous land. Lieutenant Col. Christopher Ophardt couldn’t supply the name of this cadet who died in the single-vehicle accident, reported the Associated Press. New York State police troopers helped West Point personnel responding to this crash. “West Point officials grate local and state emergency responders for their help on the scene,” composed @USAGWestPoint. “Please avoid Route 293.” The injured were transported to local hospitals with non- life threatening accidents. “These are young individuals that are devoting their lifestyles,” Cuomo said. NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) – One cadet was killed, 20 were wounded along with two Army soldiers in an accident involving a training car at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point Thursday morning, officials explained. Speaking on WAMC public radio Thursday afternoon, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said the number of fatalities could increase according to what he has been informed about the episode.
